There were a lot of awesome books waiting for me at the library this week. I am very excited for these ones and I hope they can help pull me out of the reading slump I've been in (seriously, all I read all week was Fifty Shades of Grey and now Fifty Shades Darker. It makes me feel dirty). I am also so thrilled to have been approved for The Princesses of Iowa on NetGalley. It is my first approval, which makes me feel like a little kid on Christmas, and I just featured it last week as my WOW, so I'm happy dancing all over the place.

What did you get in your mailbox this week? Leave your link in the comments and I'll do my best to come visit!

in my mailbox: three

From the Library
Fever by Lauren DeStefano
Trafficked by Kim Purcell
City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare

 Hate List by Jennifer Brown
Picture the Dead by Adele Griffin and Lisa Brown

Purchased
 Incarnate by Jodi Meadows
Everneath by Brodi Ashton

I love, love, LOVE the people over at Blue Willow Books, for having Incarnate and Everneath signed and sending them out to California for me.  I was bummed this tour didn't come near me (at least not until after I found out about it) and am very excited to have these personalized copies now.  (And in case you wondered, yes, this picture was taken at the beach.  In February.  Ridiculous.)

Also, this is the third time I have brought City of Ashes home from the library in the last year since I read City of Bones.  I'm not sure why I haven't been able to read it yet.  Maybe third time will be the charm?

in my mailbox: two

I am out of control. Someone needs to take my ATM card away from me, pronto. Stupid IRS and their tax refunds.

From the Library
Wisdom's Kiss by Catherine Gilbert Murdock
Ditched: A Love Story by Robin Mellom
Writing Great Books for Young Adults by Regina Brooks

Purchased
Marked by P.C. and Kristin Cast
Catching Jordan by Miranda Kenneally
I've Got Your Number by Sophie Kinsella

The Sword Thief by Peter Lerangis
Beyond the Grave by Jude Watson
The Black Circle by Patrick Carman
In Too Deep by Jude Watson

The Berenstain Bears books are for the Little Monsters I nanny for.  These books were like a third parent to me growing up, but when I asked them about them, they had NO IDEA what I was talking about.  I decided to start them off with a few of the lessons I think they need most...
